To God be all the glory. I am very grateful as well as thankful that I am in such a spirit filled Bible Institution. Since I have been at the River School of Worship I’m beginning to understand about the spiritual realm, and how it affects our daily lives. As Ephesians 6:12 states, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”.

On August 22, 2011 Pastor Rodney gave us the five principles that we will need to accomplish are goals at RSW or RBI. I really respect him highly for letting us know what is important and how to reach as well as obtain these goals. The goals include:

Integrity – The state or quality of being ethically sound, morally well adjusted.

Humility – A Christian characteristic. It is a mental attitude of lowliness the opposite of pride.

Morality – Is a sense of behavioral conduct that differentiates intention, decisions and actions between those that are good or bad.

Prayer Life – Spending time with God. Developing a relationship with him.

Accountability – Mans responsibility to God.

Since I have been a part of RSW the Lord has touched my life. I have a desire to read Gods word and really get to know him. I want to be all that he wants me to be. I believe with all my heart that the Lord will heal me within my physical body and I am ready.  I should have been dead but he kept me, and I know that God is a healer. As Isaiah 53:5 states, “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

I feel within my heart that all of the Pastors are knowledgeable and awesome; and I am so ever grateful that I was chosen to be a part of the River School of Worship. May God continue to send down his fire….Marlena B.

In April of this year I was watching the Great Awaking broadcast through my computer at home in Buffalo N.Y.  It was all about Bible school and people giving testimonies of bible school.  I felt a stirring and than from within came, “You need to go to bible school”.  I thought this is crazy there were so many obstacles.  My husband did not watch that evening, so I decided not to say anything.  Well the next day after working outside all day.  My husband comes in very serious and with urgency to tell me that he needs to talk to me.  Well I thought something happened and something did.  He told me how all day the Lord was speaking to him about going to Bible school.  Well I just started laughing.  He was looking at me shocked with wonder at why I was laughing so hard and then I told him what happened the night before.  The Lord has provided everything that we needed to make the transition to Florida.  He provided people for our ministry and businesses, even someone to rent our house and a place to live here in Florida that accepts all three of our dogs and a Christian School for our son.

So many things have happened since the first week of school revival.  I feel like I’ve been here longer than 3 weeks.  I came to Florida with a broken heart.  It first started with our baby going to be with the Lord.  Then came the blow that I know was meant to take me out since the first did not.

Since I’ve been here at RBI, God has touched and changed my life in many different ways. I have learned how to trust the Word of God like never before. My faith has grown stronger and I continually see the Word being activated in me and through me. I have learned to see who I am in Christ and the authority He has given to me. I know that I am what the Word says I am, I have what the Word says I have. I am learning to take hold of the scripture and claim it.

During the last few weeks God has supernaturally provided for me on many occasions. I have learned to sow in faith and I have seen amazing harvests. People will bless me unexpectedly with many needed items and even some random blessings that I want but don’t need.

God has given me a strong passion for soul wining and a heart for the lost. All I want to do is lead people to the Lord and spread the gospel anywhere and everywhere. I used to be timid about sharing the gospel, but now I have no fear at all. God has given me boldness and a fire for soul winning.  I have seen people healed, transformed, and baptized in the Holy Spirit. I’m learning to simply yield to the Holy Spirit and let God work through me to touch other people.

The lord has been so good it’s been three weeks in the revival. God has been touching and revealing things to me. I had a stomach problem so bad that I had to go to the doctors. I had my mother, friends, and mentor praying for me. Because I could not keep my food in my stomach. So one day in service the lord put in my heart to take flaxseed. So when I did my stomach immediately cleared up. I tell you what you have to trust the Holy Spirit that lives within you. He will not let you down. God has been showing me about getting right in the area of my finances. He’s been taking me from glory to glory. The Holy Spirit is the best teacher you can ever have. He does not condemn, he is understanding, and gentle.

You can trust him with your life. He wants you to go from glory to glory. I’m a second year student and I tell you that these three weeks have been more powerful then the whole 1st year of RBI for me. God is really doing something big. In these times that were in it is crucial that you allow God to do the work in you. The more he can do in you, the more he can do through you. So God has been taking things out of my life that I did know needed to be taking out of my life. Let God do the work, he knows what he is doing the meetings have been great, you have to stay teachable and not have an offence. Because it is very easy to get offensive but you just have to allow the Holy Spirit to do the work in you. We need to be effective outside of the four walls of the church. Jesus is so soon to come back, so let God do the work. Amen……David R.

Working in the call center is such a blessing! I had so many calls the other night. I had a woman who is ninety-two call in and want the fire and the soul winning script to go win souls. Wow, that is awesome. Another woman called and wanted prayer for healing for her eyes because they are deteriorating and she can’t read the soul winning script to go out and win souls.

She was crying, she wants so desperately to do it. Now that is hungry for souls!  If only everyone thought like that then the whole world would hear the Gospel. I had one woman call with a praise report about her granddaughter was healed and got out of the hospital after she called the prayer line and someone prayed for her.

Praise God! A lot of people calling in for the baptism of the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues before they hang up and then there are some who got to get out of there heads and stop thinking so much because God filled them. It is so awesome to talk to people from all over the world and be used by God. When I was helping out in the room after the alter call this little boy was waiting there on the chair for his mama.

I was talking to him about the Holy Spirit and asked him if he wanted to be filled, he said yes so I prayed for him to be filled and he had tears running down his precious little cheeks. The Lord was touching Him. Praise God.

We are living in the state of shaking the nations.

This Tuesday night I had the privilege to lead praise and worship during the Great Awakening. It was an amazing time of praising the King of Kings.

It has been a week of a great hunger for the presence of God and for his fire. It’s easy to tell when the congregation that you lead before the throne of God, are hungry and thirsty for the presence of God to fall. All hearts are reaching out and pressing in deeper into his presence.

This night God’s presence was tangible in the sanctuary and it was preparing peoples hearts to receive something more powerful than ever before. It was a real praise party and people got healed and set free from bondages while worshiping God.

Right now we are living in the state of shaking the nations. For God to be able to shake all nations and this world he starts in small places were he can find people who are hungry for him and who will obey his commandments. He starts in a church just like at The River at Tampa Bay Church with shaking people’s lives so that they never will be the same again. People get touched and shaken to go out and be the messengers of the fire of God to shake the rest of this world. A week like this during the Great Awakening proves that God is about to do something greater than man has ever seen. In a time like this when the hunger for God is dominating people’s lives, God is starting an explosion of the fire of God to shake the nations of this world. -Sara B

This week God is shaping and molding me into the person He wants me to be only so I can be a better servant for His Kingdom. While at work I’m being stretched this world is not nice sometimes and living it out is not hard but challenging I’m learning how to be a role model not just to talk about it but to actually live it I’m not perfect now but I strive to be. You see I was use to the world before because I was the same as everyone else you get an attitude with me I get an attitude with you but that’s not who I really am never was but that’s how I acted because that’s all I seen when God continues to touch my heart and show me what real love really is the same love I have to share with everyone else I cant be bitter or let things get to me because I have nothing to be angry or bitter about so through all the rough bumps or mountains storms hurricanes and bad attitudes this week I’ve learned to continue to praise God and thank Him for saving me while keeping my heart humble and remembering that without Jesus I am no one and it’s not my will but His therefore I must put a smile on my heart and show the love of God at all times not only to help others but to keep my heart right as well. God is truly doing so many amazing things in my life but this weeks main focus was definitely about keeping my heart pure. I just think that it is so awesome to be a part of the amazing things of what the Lord is doing through this ministry, especially during the Great Awakening services.  I love how America is being shaken through the power of God under the anointing.  I think it is truly amazing that people are coming from all over this continent to see if all this joy and fire of God falling down on people is real.  They are coming from the ends of the earth to witness God’s awesome power of the people getting set free from bondage and getting set on fire to be followers of Jesus Christ.  All the people are witnessing all of this are being convicted by the Holy Spirit to be obedient to the Great Commission of what our Lord and Savior commanded us to do.  There are a lot of people that want the zeal but have no idea and no revelation on how to obtain it because they are under so much religious and ritual bondage that they are trapped and do not know how to get out of it or even know that there is an issue.  I am so grateful that the Lord has anointed Pastor’s Rodney and Adonica Howard-Brown to do is such a miracle.  The vision that they have for America to be shaken is coming to pass.  It is a wonderful thing to see our Lord performing these signs and wonders through this ministry and the networks that are broadcasting into people’s homes that are lost, oppressed, and stuck in ritual bondage. -Angela P.

The days of visitation and punishment have come; the days of recompense have come; Israel shall know it. The prophet is [considered] a crazed fool and the man who is inspired is [treated as if] mad or a fanatic, because of the abundance of your iniquity and because the enmity, hostility, and persecution are great. 8 Ephraim was [intended to be] a watchman with my God [and a prophet to the surrounding nations]; but he, that prophet, has become a fowler’s snare in all his ways. There is enmity, hostility, and persecution in the house of his God.  Hosea 9:7-8 AMP

The prophets of God, the true people of God who speak and live God’s Word, will inevitably suffer persecution when their nation is full of sin and rebellion against God and the Truth of His Word, however, the Gospel must continue to be boldly preached.

The Christian who believes in the power of the Word of God, who is filled with the power of God, who is wholly submitted to the Word and the Spirit, who has clean hands and a pure heart, who is not ashamed of the Gospel, who preaches the truth and lives a godly life, is the devil’s worst nightmare! If the devil cannot stop you from obeying the Great Commission, then he will stir up persecution against you to try to hinder you, discourage you, and/or prevent you from continuing.

For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. 22 For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; 23 but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, 24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.  1 Corinthians 1:21-24 NKJV

The Gospel is the same to all, but not all receive it the same way. Sincere people, who sin because they don’t know any other way, still have a conscience that convicts them, especially when the truth is preached. However, a person who has silenced their own conscience so that they can continue to sin, does not welcome, but rather rejects, the Truth. The generation which has embraced evil will be stubborn and rebellious toward God; therefore, they will claim that God’s righteous messengers, who speak His Word, are merely “crazed fools”, rather than God’s watchmen, so that they can have an excuse for their own sinfulness. Unwarranted enmity, hostility, and persecution, directed toward the messenger, are the results.

If you are a child of God, then you have been given the ministry of reconciliation – to introduce people to Jesus Christ and see them reconciled to the Father. Sometimes you are welcomed; sometimes ignored; sometimes attacked. You cannot quit because you are not welcomed – the word must be preached and the seed sown regardless of the reception.
Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage – with great patience and careful instruction. 3 For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 5 But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.  2 Timothy 4:2-5 NIV

The Amplified Bible says we must be ready to preach the Word of God anytime and every time, “…whether the opportunity seems to be favorable or unfavorable; whether it is convenient or inconvenient, whether it is welcome or unwelcome.” We are not responsible for the response TO the message, just the delivery OF the message. We cannot preach merely what people WANT to hear – we are to preach the Truth – we are to preach what they NEED to hear, whether they like it or not. We must correct, rebuke and encourage – with great patience and careful instruction.

But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. 3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. 5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake. 6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.  2 Corinthians 4:2-6 NKJV

The devil will try to blind men so they can’t see the Light or hear the Truth and so they don’t receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, but as you preach the Truth, God’s light shines into their hearts and they are converted. If you preach your opinion, you will get nowhere, however, the Gospel is full of the power of God and when you preach Jesus Christ, and Him crucified, then the power of the Gospel is released into men’s hearts and the Holy Spirit goes to work to touch and change their hearts.

You don’t know, you cannot tell beforehand, who will receive the Truth and who will not. Saul (renamed Paul) persecuted the Church terribly – he captured them, jailed them and even killed them – but Jesus met with him on the Damascus road and he became a bold proclaimer of the Gospel, himself. That is why you must be prepared to preach the Gospel and continue to preach the Gospel, through persecution and opposition if needs be, until all have heard and God’s will is done!

I can undoubtedly say that the 3^rd year internship here at RBI has radically changed my life; and through me I believe the Lord is radically changing the lives of many other people. I am currently leading a bible study in a community within the city. We have a regular attendance of 25-40 people every Monday night. Just having the precious opportunity to pour into the lives of other people what has been poured into me is a blessing beyond measure. We had begun to share on stewardship and giving about 3 months ago and we have seen incredible moves of God in the finances of our regular attendees. About a month after we had begun to share on seed time and harvest one of our people had a desperate need financially.

I told her to continue to not only believe in the word but speak it continually. One Sunday morning Pastor Todd was teaching on making room for the anointing. He called up this lady and prayed for her. As she was out under the power of God members of the church just began to walk up and give her money. Checks, cash, whatever they had they gave. When she had counted it all it turned out to be more than enough for her need. This is as much of a testimony to me as it is to her seeing that the Lord works with us, confirming his word with signs following. No one guilted or begged the people to give to her, they simply got up of their own accord and gave. The Lord is continuing to do mighty things in this community and I believe that the best is yet to come. If not for the internship here, I would not have had the opportunity to go and to teach the word, therefore the Lord would have nothing to confirm.

It is Jan 2nd and I am watching Pastors Eric and Jennifer on the Web.  I am so encouraged by them.  I remember the first time I talked to Jennifer when I answered the product line at RMI.  God has really done a work in their lives.  God is so faithful and I can testify that his word is true. Last Feb 1st after the Super bowl was over my husband dropped a bombshell on me.  I knew that he had been watching porn on the internet and we had had several heated discussions concerning it.  That night he brought me a paper that he had hidden in the garage for a week.  It was a notice that had been taped to our mailbox from the Hillsborough County Health Department ordering me to come in for testing.  My husband had started to act out what he was watching on the Web and he had picked up a girl on the side of the street, paid her for oral sex and he had gotten syphillus from her.

He had been sick for months and knew he was in trouble but he hadn’t told me until his doctor finally realized what the problem was and had him tested.  Of course, the facility that tested him was required by law to report it to the Health Department.  I was devastated and I begged him to get help.  He told me that he had apologized to me, that he was sorry and that was all he could do.  He didn’t have a problem and didn’t need any help.  Two days later I spent three hours at the Health Department totally humiliated as I was inspected from head to toe inside and out and got two shots of penicillin. I stayed with him for two weeks after that continually trying to get him to realize he had a problem and that he needed help but he continued to deny it, saying it was a one time thing and never would happen again.  I knew in my heart and my spirit that that was a lie from the pit of hell.

I stayed for two weeks after that and then I left.  I had a young girlfriend with a small child that took me in and I lived with her, out of boxes for the next nine months.  I hadn’t been to church in almost three years, but I had prayed constantly and begged God not to give up on me.  I was struggling with my faith and was very disillusioned with the church. Well, God got me back in church.  I walked into a new church that next Sunday and God met me there.  Over the next few months God healed my hurt bit by bit.  I would get on my knees in my bedroom day after day crying and praying and repeating God’s promise.  I would say, “God, your word says that you have a plan and purpose for my life, a plan to prosper me and not to harm me.
